Sadee's crawling!
Yay! And Yikes! Now I have to baby-proof the house. But, it sure is cute watching her crawl. She started crawling last week and she is very proud of herself. She'll crawl a couple feet than stop, sit, clap for herself, and continue crawling again. It's pretty funny. In one of the pics, you can see her clapping for herself.

Loving the Journey
I love this toothy grin. (She has 4 teeth now!)

I loved that Sadee ate so much for dinner one night (she loves pizza now) that her belly totally stuck out. We gave her a bath after dinner and I wanted to take some pics of her in the tub. Well, her belly hung out so far that I didn't have to get a washcloth to cover up any parts for the pictures. Cute little budda belly!
I love baby push-ups.
I loved that I found the costume that Tanner wants for Halloween. I surprised him with it last weekend and he couldn't believe it! He was so, so excited!! Watch out Indy!
I loved going to support Ryan in his bike race! It was a crazy day, but I wouldn't miss it for anything!
I loved seeing Colby all covered in dirt. He had so much fun playing in it. He was working on a "secret mission" for over an hour. Seeing him reminded me of a quote I have in one of my scrapbooking quote packs: "Boy: a noise with dirt on it."
I love Colby's thoughtful look. It's this super sweet look he gets on his face when he's just done something really nice for someone or when he sees someone else doing something really nice for another person. In this picture, he was watching the race people hand out prizes to the kids for the kid bike race.
I loved pigtails and pj's.
What did you love about your week?
Older than dirt
Well, almost.
Some time ago Tanner had a little conversation with us that went something like this:
T: When you were kids, did you ride around in carts pulled by horses?
me & Ry: (thinking- Uh, what? Did you really just ask that?) No, there were cars when we were kids.
T: Oh, (pause). So were they the kind of cars you had to turn the crank on the engine to start?
me & Ry: (laughing) No, they were just regular cars. There were even cars when grandma and grandpa were kids.
So the other night Tanner throws another one at us. We were cleaning up after dinner and he asked if there was soap when we were kids. Too funny! I remember as a kid time seemed like such a weird thing to me and it was hard to imagine my own parents as kids. Man, we must seem REALLY old to Tan!

Loving the Journey
I love good quotes (if you have a favorite, pass it on!) and came across this one by Anna Quindlen. "Learn to love the journey, not the destination." I've heard it before and really like it. Actually, I like a lot of her stuff. On a friend of a friend's blog, I saw a posting where this girl writes and lists stuff she loved about the week. And it's a continuous thing. So I thought I'd steal the idea, but use my own title (she had a cute title for hers that is different). So here is what I loved about my week:

I loved not having to plan cub scouts this week because we had back-to-school night the same night.
I loved getting a babysitter TWICE this week (one was for an actual date!)
I loved seeing Sadee's bed-head when I went to get her out of her crib in the morning

I loved attending stake conference and hearing Elder Dallin H. Oaks talk, laugh, joke, and fill my spiritual tank. Elder Cordova (our area 70 guy) was fantastic too. And I loved going to the adult session and not worrying about keeping my kiddos quiet, and then going out to eat with Ryan and some friends afterward.
I loved baby tylenol and orajel so Sadee could take a nap and not be so sad from her teeth coming in.
I loved going on the ward campout with my family and cooking breakfast with my friend.

Tanner's baptism
A friend of Tanner's got baptized last weekend which reminded me that I forgot to post pictures of Tanner's baptism from August. Whoops! Tanner was actually excited for it. I thought he would be happy about it, but I was glad that he was EXCITED for it! My parents drove down for the weekend, and my sister flew down. It was fun to see them all! And the baptism went great. :)
